As of December 2012, Kauffman Tire operates over 50 retail centers in Georgia and Florida, four commercial centers in northeast Ohio, fourteen wholesale centers in seven states, and an E-commerce division, Tread Depot.

Our support center is in Atlanta, Georgia, where we have been headquartered since 1975.

As we continue to expand our wholesale footprint, we are looking for candidates who want to advance in a career with Kauffman Tire. We are hiring inside sales candidates who want to develop into distribution center managers. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated to develop their product knowledge and to learn all aspects of our business through company and outside resources. The successful candidate will move from inside sales to outside sales, followed by assistant manager to manager as their knowledge and experience increase. Candidates must have high customer service standards and an eagerness to develop themselves professionally. We are interested in recruiting an individual who has exceptional communication and organizational skills, is dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service, and the leadership skills to motivate a team.

The ideal Inside Sales candidate has a high school diploma/GED at minimum, an affinity for sales, an unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record, and a strong desire to learn and grow with our business.

The following is a representative list of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position:
-- Accountable for attaining assigned monthly Sales and Profits and meeting financial objectives
-- Accountable for acquiring new accounts and maintaining current accounts
-- Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional .publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  Previous sales experience either in the industry or outside desired
